is situated only 160 km (about 2 hours drive) south east of
both the centre of Windhoek and the International Airport, and
is reached by following a most scenic route passing within sight
of both the Auas and Bismarck mountain ranges, through a savannah
abounding with Camelthorn trees and with the opportunity of
seeing wildlife in untrammelled surroundings.

Facilities

Enjoy a delicious home cooked Namibian cuisine prepared with
produce fresh from the farm and gardens. Guests can choose to
either eat in the thatched outdoor Lapa, in our Boma around
a blazing fire under a panoply of stars or in the beautifully
decorated dining room indoors.
Accomodation
available :
Each of the chalets has its own shaded terrace overlooking
the swaying grasslands and distant mountains. Creature comforts
include tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, a small safe
for your valuables. The chalets, each with their own bathroom
and separate toilet, normally sleep two people, but a child
friendly third bed makes them suitable for families too.
Three
stylish and peaceful rooms, again situated in the heart of nature.
Each has a private shower, toilet, a mini safe and also tea
and coffee making facilities. All sleep two people in comfort.
Activities:
A
farm tour, witnessing the daily farm routines and learning more
of the holistic methods successfully employed to combat the
periods of drought that occur in this arid environment. hiking
trails, either to the aloes, or through our game camp or even
high into the local mountains. Others might surely enjoy a sundowner
game drive or perhaps you would like to do some serious stargazing
at a local private observatory.
